Child Safety Switch - no light!
 
Should the child safety switch be lit? mine is not lit at night, and i also have two dead rear windows (nothing moves), so i was wondering if a broken child protection switch will disable rear windows completly....

No Light
 
Switch ONLY affects Rear Window Switches ,In The Rear Doors.

You can unplug and remove the Child Safety Switch and the Console Mounted Rear Window Switches still activate the Rear Windows.

There is no illumination in the child window lock switch in my 1987 w124.
