Footwell Lights, 1989 300E

Anyone put in footwell lights in the interior and how did you wire them up?

I installed some strip LCD lights in my Toyota and they worked well to enhance the interior lighting. Toyota used a one wire door pin system that opened and closed the negative ground to activate the interior lights. Pretty simple!

German engineering has three wires at the door switches and I am not sure how to connect to them for power/ground. Mercedes always has to be different........................

No... Mercedes always has to be better

I don't know the answer to your question, however do you need the light permanently on (at night) or just when you open/close the doors?

Footwell Lights

Oh, only when the driver's door or the passenger's front door is opened.
