W201 Blower Motor
My blower motor has been squeaking for a while and recently blew the fuse. It worked for a while but then started making and awful rattle and blew the fuse again. I'm guessing the motor is toast and needs to be replaced.
Is there a w201 blower motor repair tutorial on here somewhere--is it similar to the w124 procedure? I've got a haynes manual that is less than helpful--do you start taking apart the firewall on the passenger side to get to it or take the wiper assembly out and go in from the top? |

blower motor access
The blower motor on the 210 is accessed from under the right side dash ( lefthand drive car). First you must remove the underdash panel and then there is a cover held on by 5 or 6 torx head screws. Once this cover is removed you can get to the motor and current regulator which is held on by 4 or 5 torx head screws.
Good luck,hope this helps. Robert.
