97 C280 front rotor min thickness

Can someone please tell me what the minimum allowable thickness on the front rotors of a 97 C280 are?

I believe the brakes were changes in 96, and I know the specs for the pre-96 brakes but have been unable to find the min thickness for the brakes on my 97.

Also, I looked all over the rotor and could not find it stamped anywhere.

-Thanks

The numbers by the book: New 25mm thick, Wear Limit 22.0mm, Wear Limit for maintenance service 22.6mm.

I presume the difference between the two wear limits infers that if pads are necessary and the limit is below 22.6 then one should replace. if the pads are alright then nothing is necessary till 22.0mm.

This is for chassis 202.028 after 9/95 without option Code 956 AMG package. With the AMG discs the numbers are 30, 28, 28.5.

I have based mine on the lip of the rotor.... Mine has a signifigant lip and ate through a set of pads in less than 10k miles...

This to me is excessive as I have been able to go at least 20k or more in my other cars...

I ordered new discs and pads and all from fastlane, and price was excellent. All thanks to phil for helping me make the right choice to change the discs and pads, it can't hurt, and I will know exactly when they were done..
