Bumper replacement 190E 2.6

Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding installing a new bumper on my 1992 190e 2.6. What actually needs replacing is the trim under the bumper, the same piece where the tow hook cover is located.

My questions are can I replace the trim part only, vs changing the whole bumper+trim. And two, do I need any special tools to do the job?

Any advice would be great!

No special tools, fairly easy job.

That's the good news.

The bad? The bumper cover is a one-piece surround, lower and upper together. Fortunately the 190Es populate many junk-yards, shouldn't be difficult to find a used one.
