Squeaky sound at front suspension

Hi friends. I have a squeaky sound at my front suspension in my S430 2001 W220 chassis Mercedes. I inspected the area, the sound comes from the disk brake inner plate. It sounds in both, when taking a bump Suspension) and also while steering. If the suspension gets wet as when it rains pretty hard, the sound disappears for a day or so. Not sure if it is the lower ball joint or the strut arm or something else.

The car doesn't have leeway in the steering wheel, nor vibration at higher speed.

Any suggestion are welcome. At the ball joints, the strut arm at both sides have the rubber cover broken and there is evidence of grease coming out. In my older mercedes (W126), this sound came from the lower ball joint which I replace it myself.

Thank you,

Darrel

I would say you should fix or replace the parts you know to be bad and see if that changes anything.

Lower ball joints are more than likely the culprit.

Thank you all

Thank you, I did this in my W126, with the special press. I read that this lower ball joint can be replace with a special tool without removing any part of the suspension. Is this an easy job? Can I use my old press (for the W126)?

Any experience with this, please reply.

Thanks again, Darrel.

Up-date in this issue.

I have a universal tool for removing most lower ball joint. Will this tool work for this ball joint? Any friend that had replace this ball joint in this car before. what tool did you use?
I have tried to use lubricant to eliminate the squeky sound but no success. Instead if I drive in a rainy day, the sound goes away for the next 2-3 days. Is like the water splash penetrated into the ball joint and lubricate the joint.

Any comments are welcomed.
