1990 W124

I must say, this 1990 300TE is one tough cookie...purchased for pennies and took me a good 6 months to figure it out...but this tough cookie here...3 Chicago winters and 20K miles and I have spent less than $1000 maintenance and my wife drives this car every day! Starts it every morning in subzero temputures...thing just starts and runs...the blower motor fans is weak, but that's typical German, BMW's do the same thing (Behr is sorry!)....but other than that...

Uh...language? Lets use a filter next time.

The W124 is quite durable. My wife drives a 300E every day 20-25 miles....runs great every day. All I've done to it in the past 7 months is an oil change! Almost scary how little it has needed.....though it is due for steering/suspension work in the spring....still, only a few hundred $$ in repairs....cheap!

Wow, your 20-year-old car has a problem with the blower, ...

I have always enjoyed the class and objectivity that defines you in your posts.

As far as maintenance costs, just wait. "If you drive it, they will come."

Thanks Doc

Thanks M.B.Doc for your edits. I have noticed in other threads that the original poster seems incapable of writing any sentence without being either daft or vulgar.
