I need some help on removing the fuel door lock on my '98 C280. It is making a noise and I want to take it out to lubricate it, or see if something is out of alignment. I can access it through the trunk, but can get it out. Before I apply to much torque, I'd like to know the proper removal technique. Do I just twist the thing?
