ATF / Filter Change
I can't run the engine at the moment; the 280E is incarcerated in a snow-bound garage. It's now time to renew the ATF and I'm wondering if turning the engine at the crank bolt will be enough to allow the transmission to pump ATF into the torque converter. The idea is to put in half the amount, pump it into the TC and then finish filling. If this way works, how many turns of the engine would be required?

:bowrofl: You're asking too much.. This is not the way it works you have to run the engine.. You can't turn it fast enough.

How bout just wait until weather permits. I'm sure the transmission isn't going to die in the meantime, especially since you aren't driving it.
