Wow! Is it really that easy? What aboutthe rear?

If you have access to the nice spring compressor in the video, changing the springs is a snap. It's near $500 to buy a Klann compressor I believe, the reproduction style of the Klann is $200-300.

For the rear, you will need to drop the shock for sure.

when the front shocks go weak the front suspension sinks rather low leading one to think about a coil spring replacement.
I simply replaced the 4 shocks in my car brought the height back to normal.
ou may have other reasons too.

More than likely the shocks are toast. Pull them off and depress the strut and see how long it takes to come back up. If there is any slowness or lack of smooth movement -- replace them. Mine on my 260E were toast at 85k miles.

The springs and spring pads normally determine the height of the car. There are other components in play for the rear of the car. The struts are dampers.
The springs are very high quality and were matched at the factory per car. They can be retensioned.
Struts and mounts : 100 - 150 thousand Kilometers is their life.
