Camshaft Adjuster Magnet
 

I have a bit of a leak from the camshaft adjuster magnet. it is leaking from inside the device itself, and not an outside sealing issue...it is a very small leak so i will not be changing it for now....

I unplugged it while the engine is running to test, nothing changed...the engine idled normally...is that an indication that it is not working correctly?

The solenoid gets signal at approx 2800rpm & releases the oil in the gear and that allows the intake camshaft to advance.

NOT a $$ part & easy to install.
