W126 Sunroof Question
 

Hey guys,


My sunroof has recently decided to give me hell, so the other day I decided to try and figure it out. One corner was binding, so I figured it was one of the angular lifting arms.

Well, I was wrong; I had to draw the picture, as it takes me roughly 20 minutes to open and close it (not slide it, just tilt), but its that bracket shaped [ piece that binds inside the body of the car.

The view of the picture is from the windshield to the trunk, and in trying to unbind that piece I broke the right jaw. Go figure. :mad:



Does anyone know what that thing is/what it does/how to unbind it?

Forgot to say that the red item in the back is the piece; the red on the right is the broken arm.
