Hello all, does anyone know what would cause the airbag light to come on intermittently on a 2006 C280 ? This is the little light on the dash just above where the CD player is located. thanks in advance

There are approx 40 different codes for that system...

Can't guess, only test.

I think you're talking about the status indicator for the passenger side airbag. When the light is on, the airbag is disabled. This is normal if the passegers' seat is unoccupied.

Yes that's the one. And actually it's my girlfriend's car. She mentioned it when we were driving the other day and I noticed it intermittently comes on when I was in the passenger seat too. Well, I better get her to fix it asap as I am the one who is normally in the passenger seat. Thanks for the link to the manual.
