thermo actuator switch
 

i have an 89 300ce i acdidently broke the thermo engine coolant switch on top right of cooling head,it has 2 plastic vacum line trees,i ordered a used part,cuz the cheap lil thing is about $50.00 i found 1 for $10.00 mines got black plastic vacum trees,part # 001 140 62 60 the new one has brown vacum tees,i know each one is set to flex a disc at a different internal temp my old part number is only 62 to new one is a 73 will this polution control valve make a big difference running on a higher celcius valve from 62 celcius to 73 celcius?
