Any ideas?
I have a '93 E220 and recently I've noticed that the engine has started to stutter as I am pulling to a stop, as though it may stall.
It idles sweetly once the car is stationery. I know there's not many E220 out here, but I hope someone would be able to suggest what to check. Any input would be most appreciated. |
I'm assuming this is the M111 engine 2.2L DOHC engine.
Check: 1. Overvoltage Protection Relay. Known problem from quite a few MB models and years. 2. Might possibly be the wiring harness, but since your car is not a US model, this might not be applicable. 3. Fuel pump relay. |
Oops!
Thanks John, I should have done a search first. Didn't realised that there's been so much problems with this OVP part. Can you please tell me what it looks like and where do I find it in the W124. Ditto the fuel pump relay. Thank you (10X)! BTW would this OVP also cause the A/C to work intermitently? Cheers |
