CD Error on 95 E420. help!

CD Error on 95 E420. help!

I have a 1995 E420 and my CD player (changer) stopped working recently. All I get now is "CD ERROR" when I push the CD button. Already tried changing teh CD cartridges but didn't make any difference. Any idea where to start?
