I press the end of the stalk on our 123 and it wipes 3 times. this is for the windshield washer function. I don`t have the washer bottle installed but still wipes 3 times. wish it only wiped once.

this blinker function up grade will work on other models besides the 124?

As noted it should work on just about any older German car. I'd venture this add on will work with any older car where the hazard switch itself flashes when pressed.

The low-cost Arduino would be a good application for this. You could do many other things with it too. Its fairly cheap at $30.

Good idea. Freeduino is even cheaper

Great idea - thanks for doing the write-up - terrific work.

I will say that IMO three blinks is not enough especially when driving in freeway traffic. If I tried three blinks in LA freeway traffic, I'd get run over.

Our freeways are more open and spacious, not like the gridlock you Kalifornians enjoy. :D

PLCs and ladder logic is a pain (imo) when compared to other programming languages.

can probably do it in C :D
