94 E420 Air Pump Removal - What would be the size of the new belt?

As the title explains, I want to remove the air pump.
It is noisy as hell (bearings). I do not want to replace the bearings, just remove the whole thing and put a new belt, which evidently will be shorter.
I found a few threads, but only for M103 and M104 engines.
Have anyone done this on a M119 engine?
What would be the size of the belt with no air pump?

Thanks,

Pesuazo

New belt

I don't think this is possible because of the layout of the belt. What i would do is remove the pump and use i'ts fastening points to make a bracket to hold a pulley so the layout and length of the belt is the same. Otherwise i think you will have run in with a case of "s*it happens".

After looking at the layout myself, I must agree with you.
There is no way to run a belt unless there is some kind of pulley with bracket at the air pump location. The challenge is to find an M119 without air pump with the bracket and idler pulley.
It seems like it will be a lot less difficult to remove the pump, replace the bearings and put it back....LOL
