'88 transmission VS. '84 transmission?
My 1988 300e Benz needs a transmission...
Will a transmission from a 1984 300TD station-wagon work? Tired calling my mechanic but,I have not heard back from him. I know you guys can help me! =] -Oh,Also I was not 100% sure where to post this thread so sorry if it is in the wrong spot. |
According to the EPC
Your 88-300E has a 722.320 or 723.358 A 84-300TD has a 722.303 or 722.315 or 722.416 So part number wise they are not the same. I'm not even sure if they'd mate up successfully as I believe the m103 and om617 have different locations for the starter motor? I might be wrong. I know m103 starter is on the drivers side..I think om617 is on passenger... |
