Whining Sound at Rear, Diff?
 

Hello guys,

I'm getting a low pitch whine a slow speeds that increases in pitch with high speeds. It's coming from the rear. Differential? I don't recall ever hearing anything like it. It could be that I'm becoming overly familiar with my vehicle so every little sound stands out.

It's definitely a gear-like whining sound. Reminds me of a gearbox in a racecar that gets higher in pitch and the car goes faster and faster.
