overvoltage protection relay
 

:confused: can anyone tell me how to test the OVP relay to tell if its bad or good?

the fuse on the top is not broken but many compontent are working then not working..
this is for 1982 380 SEC

any test you can do on it like when you test the fuel pump relay?

ON this car the overvoltage relay is working if the idle is correct & the "lamda" frequency injector is buzzing whenever the engine is running.

well they tested the car with the computer..and it was flat line.. they changed the O2 sensor and that didnt work

one mechanic thinks its the fuel frequency valve and the oil temp switch..
another mechanic seems to think its the OVP relay..another one thinks my cadaltic conver is plugged...

my oil dash gauge is bouncy
