W126: proper joint connection between front upper control arm and sway bar
Just to check and make sure:
Just to asuage my nervousness that during my front shocks' installation the upper control arm was not properly reconnected to the ball joint at the sway bar ends, could someone please describe the proper configuration of the joint: i.e., proper bushings, spacers, bolts. I just don't trust some people who've worked on my vehicle, recently. Sometimes their ignorance of the model shows - and this area could be critical. Thanks. If someone has a good photo or drawing of the area, that would be even more appreciated. |
I can't help you 'til I get home, but there's no call to touch any suspension parts other than the shocks when replacing shocks.
