Vibration in W124 200E

Hello all gurus!

I have a 94 W124 200E (I know that is a rare engine configuration in the US) and i have just changed my timing belt, engine mounts and transmssion mount. I had the following items changed due to vibration i felt when the car is idling. Anyway I guess that it is due to be changed at about 130000km on my clock.

However, after having changed the following items, the vibration became worst! Please suggest what could be wrong! By the way i changed the spark plugs to iridium ones, does anyone encounter any problems using them? By the way is it OK for the engine pressure to drop to 1.5 or 2 when not accelerating?

Thanks!

What kind of vibration? A really bad idle or a chassis shake? Could you be more specific as to the sound and nature of the vibration?

Thanks for your reply!

I will try to describe the vibration, During idle and in any gear, you can feel the seats and steering wheel vibrate. When driving it seens normal the vibration only comes on when the car is idling.

I went to my mechanic and he said that my exhuast is faulty not the muffler but the front or middle part of the exhuast. I have also changed my engine oil from 15W-50 (Shell Helix Ultra) to 0W-40 (Mobil 1) and my spark plugs to irdium ones. Could these be the cause?

Thanks once again!
