E320 RIGHT HAND SIDE COMBINATION SWITCH
 

Hi,I just picked up a 00 E320 wagon,that has a switch/handle,identical with the cruise control one,however,on the right hand side of the steering wheel,cannot find any info in the owners manual about it and I never had a W210 with this option,it has a picture on it that resemble the seat belt somewhat and it doesnt seem to do anything...any help?

It could be the voice control handle used with the old telephone install

BTW you can remove that, you sort of push in and twist it and the handle part comes off.
The switch itself was a factory installed part. Originally there was a small cap for where that lever goes, you might be able to order that cap, should be cheap. But at any rate the lever comes off easily.
