pollen filters
could anybody tell me where the pollen filters are to be found on a e300 1996 diesel ,, my heater does not seem to clear the windows a friend said it is the pollen filters that are needing changed is this true ,,,,rob

The filters are behind the glovebox. It will have to be removed to get to them.
They are supposed to be replaced quite frequently (at least every 30k miles). If they get plugged the airflow through all ducts will be reduced... does your A/C work well?
