Remote Aux Cooling Fan Switch?

Has anyone used something like this to manually operate the aux cooling fans? I have read about manually operated hard wired setups with a switch in the glovebox etc. Sometimes my old dog needs a little help cooling when sitting in traffic.

A simple switch works for me.

Its relatively easy to feed a wire through the firewall and dash.

Uh just add a 1.1k resistor to the aux fan temp switch and It will be automatic and run longer to keep it cooler. Look up cool harness same thing.

You are glossing over a series of important details.
