w126 Power Rear Seat Install
 

Hello everyone,

I was just told that the local junkyard just got a SEL with power rear seat. I was thinking about getting all the bits and pieces for this and retrofitting it into my 420SEL. Has anyone done this before? I dont imagine it being very difficult as the seat bottom/top bolts into the frame.

The most difficult part will be where to put the switch as my 420 doesnt have the door panels to accommodate the extra switch...or is there a way to easily modify the door panel and install the other SEL's switch plate?

I"m just curious at this point..
