'95 C220 Cranks but won't start

Son went out last night and got something out of the car after dark. Today his car won't start.

Initially I thought he had run the battery down by maybe leaving lights on.

But the car cranks ok. Lights come on. Odd part, the seats won't work.

Jumped it with mine thinking a bit more juice would help. Nope

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Steve

Read a few more posts and have tried disconnecting the battery, and lock/unlock sequence as suggested.

No luck.

Do the red and green lights flash in your rear view mirror?

If so the K40 Relay could be the culprit.

not sure

you said the unlock/lock seq - did you resync the key? If the battery drained enough the car may be in "lock out mode" - assuming you tried to steal the car. Something about unlocking and starting within a few seconds but you may need the jumpers on at the same time. How much voltage is coming off your battery?

Just a suggestion-

Want to put a tank in the trunk for WVO/SVO in the E300 Need to find a place to store my OIL!
Still procrastinating about the biodiesel/WVO
Made some biodiesel but so afraid to pour it all in - I've added some and think I'll supplement my fuel to see how I make out

Made some biodiesel but the process scares me - methanol fumes are not your friend! Need to do this outside.
