W210 sunroof open in the rain overnight

LOML is just learning how to use the key to close all the windows, and didn't get the sunroof closed all the way last night. It was open about half an inch; not open to the air, just dropped down a little. Being Portland, it's rained non-stop for the last 10 hours.

The driver's seat was saturated (car's parked on a slight incline), the instrument cluster in the center was very wet, and the mat behind the driver was wet (carpet under the mat was pretty dry). The microphone (little round thing by the SOS button, I think it's a microphone) had water dripping out of it, so clearly water's gotten inside the instruments at the top.

I've let the car run for a while with the AC and seat heaters/blowers on. The front seat's getting dry. As far as I can tell everything works.

I've heard that it rains in Germany too , so I'm honestly not too worried. I was planning to take a road trip with a friend this afternoon.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Option 1.) Are you a member of MBUSA? You got the 1-800-Mercedes Help Line Number?

Option 2.) If not, how 'bout AAA?

Option 3.) Your thumb ain't sprained or broke, is it?

Option 4.) I'd go around the block quite a few miles, then expand the perimeter a bit for the next few days...just to be on the safe side...and set up a small de-humidifier in the cabin to help get rid of that wet-dog/car smell you're bound to end up with...

Option 5.) Invest in that company that makes Fabreeze. You're gonna' need some sort of rebate on the "outside" investment you'll be making for the next few months...

Good luck!!!!
