1990 300E Oil Leak

I have an oil leak that drips down around the back of air compressor. It is an annoying one drip every time it is parked hot. The front cam seal was done morte than a year ago and all is dry there and no valve cover leaks.

What am I missing?

Probably the front lip seal (the bottom of the cover that the cam seal is on) or else the head gasket itself.

If the front timing cover seal looks okay than I would suspect a possible head gasket leak if there is no other obvious source of the leak. I would first clean all of the accumulated oil off the engine with engine degreaser and then watch for leaks.
