Cool harness resistor question???
 

I was interested in trying the cool harness DIY for my 92 400E. But I could not find the resistor sugested! I found a
NTE{1/4w 1k ohm 2%}
NTE{1/4w 1.2k ohm 2%}
will one of these work?:confused:

Unless you can find exact specifications from someone, it's really trial and error. On my 103 i started out with 700ohm and after 3 tries I ended up with a 860ohm. The original cool harness specifies 1100 ohm for the 5.0 m119 so start with that and then try changing it by 100ohm. I haven't been able to find a resistance curve for this sensor.
