pics/specs wanted for homemade bush. tool
 

I need help fabricating a bushing tool. I have read archived posts about diy'ers making them, and I just can't quite put the whole idea together. pictures or specs would be great.

Yes! That would be great.

My particular interests are:

1) W124 rear control arm bushings - the ones under the differential just behind the axle boots. I think they are sometimes called "suspension lower arm".

2) W123 rear subframe mount blocks.

And I would like to hear from anyone doing #1 above to know if you can deal with this task without a coil spring compressor.
