Your brake fluid is low. kidding

It kinda looks like your outside pads are worn more than the inside..

I always thought when your pins froze, the insides were the first to go.

Im confused...

I did notice.. Thats weird.. can the inner pad be a little stuck or something?

both sides are equally worn....

I havent worked on brakes before but I suspect I'm about to learn soon. Is there a way to tell if either pad is too worn down. Does anything look bent, warped or worn too far?

While the brake fluid is fine the brakes dont feel very strong

Take it apart, and put the pads next to each other. They slide on those 2 pins in the back. they might be stuck. I dont really see what else it could be.

The pins in this type of caliper don't move. There is uneven brake wear, but it's not excessive.
Spree, why are you asking?

The rotors are worn and very likely need to be replaced. There is quite an impressive lip at the outside edge of the rotor. When new, the surface is completely flat all the way to the edge.

The pad wear does look a little uneven, but I wouldn't much worry about it. Given how long rear brake pads last it's just not worth worrying about.

Just replaced the pads & rotors and bleed the brakes - you'll be good to go for another 100K miles.

I have an issue on one of my cars where I hear a thunk or brake chatter only when starting from a dead stop like a red light or stop sign after I have been sitting on the brakes. I never hear the noise in reverse or if the car is moving.

Actually, those pictures are of the rear brakes, well, the first pic is. They do not have slide pins. I meant that it has a stuck piston. Looks like the drivers side rear is the worst. Might need to replace the caliper. I had it happen on my 300SD a year ago, and just replaced both rear calipers.
