1999 C230K head paint melted?
My friend has looked at two different 1999 C230K's and both had melted paint on the engine head, both the gray and the red cover. What is the deal with that? The paint on my 1998 engine is perfect.

the paint on the valve cover will fail eventually and have to be redone.

Do you know why this is so on the 1999 and not the 1998?

99 C230 Kompressor
Same here, recently bought a 99 C230K the gray paint on the valve cover has melted, but the red spark plug cover is fine (for now).
