Interior Wood Trim--81 300 SD
Dear Board,
Can someone please tell me where to find a new wood trim set for my 81 300 SD. I am in the process of restoration, and the current trim is cracked and chipped in a couple of places. Thanks, Skoob |

Try sending them to Heritage Woodworks.
http://www.heritagewoodworks.com/ They have a solid reputation for restoring these trim pieces. Cheers, Andrew Seidel.

I was told some years ago by someone who may have been smoking the wrong stuff that the factory keeps an inventory of wood used for the trim. When trim on a car needs replacing, the factory can provide replacement wood. Anyone know anything about this? I find it hard to believe, but my ears were not deceiving me.
