yet another sliding jaw question
I have an 1980 280SE W126 eruo spec. It has manual crank windows. The windows are not going up and down with the crank. Luckily the window is staying up, except 1/2 inch as it is a bit cool here in NY warmer than normal but not good weather to have a window down! I was wondering if the manual windows use the same sliding jaws? I figured that I would get the front and rear before tearing the door open so I do not have to drive around without the panel while waiting for the parts. Thanks in advance!

I would imagine that you need to replace the window regulator. These wear out after awhile. Pretty straight forward replacement once you remove the door panel.
