126 Wipers park in wrong position

126 Wipers park in wrong position

Hi all
the wipers on my 300Se /126 have started to park themselves right in the middle at a vertical position. i have to turn on the switch for a couple of seconds and they return to the correct park position.
Appreciate advise to rectify the fault.
