Vacumn leak, maybe...
Whenever I start my car I hear a woosh...woosh...woosh for about a minute or so. When the car is warm it does not do it. It sounds like a vacumn leak or air leak. It also sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car but it is hard to tell. Everything on the car works except the cruise control and the orthopedic seats. The seat switches positions have no noticeable effect on either front seat. I read on a past thread the seats are vacumn operated. Where is the pump located on a 126 and could the sound be related to the seats or is it something totally different? Also any help in diagnosing the cruise control would be appreciated. The switch does nothing. Is there a procedure for troubeshooting the cruise system?
Thanks for your help. Ken

I apologize for not identifying the correct switches. The electrical switches on the door panels work fine. I was referring to the ones on the side of each seat for the height and lumbar support. (That is what the OM says they are.) Mine do nothing. I can move the lever and the dial from one extreme to the other and it makes no difference.
Thanks Ken
