Question Hummmm.......

Hello :p

I did a search before posting this topic and found nothing. My 86 16V is acting up again. When the car go past 30mph, there is this humming noise coming out under the dashboard (right in front of the driver side) and this noise cause the speedometer
to slightly jump around and the fuel guage also. I know this is not the same humming sound in the center blower this is different. Is this a vaccum leak?! Any suggestion?! Please help

John

Unhook the speedo cable from the transmission & see if the noise goes away.
