Exhaust Smell

I smelled some 'exhaust smell' in my engine bay...how can i find out if i have an exhaust leak?

If you haven't already You might try the easiest fix first and check the EGR valve and connections for leaks

Get a friend to partially block the tailpipe while observing under the hood for any increased obvious signs of leakage.

Get a friend to partially block the tailpipe while observing under the hood for any increased obvious signs of leakage. Ocassionally the leakage point will leave a soot residue if it is blowing agains something as well. Be observent.
