Question Neutral Safety Switch --- 1992 300CE

Where and how do I install a new Neutral Safety Switch in my 1992 300CE auto trans?

I assume it is near the base of the shifter arm, so it can be directly linked to the position that the arm is in, but would like to know exactly how to find the switch and install the new one. I have the shift area open, but don't know what to do next.

Thanks, Ben Carter

Ben, Yes it is on the trans, drivers side.
And yes, you will need to remove the shift arm 1st.

Also it will need to be adjusted for the reverse lamps to work at the correct time.
