Spark Plugs
Has anyone used sparkplugs.com?
They have in stock W8DC . THEY SAY IT IS FOR A NON AUTOMOTIVE application ie, lawn mower, construction equipment. They cross reference it to ngk BP5ES, so I assume it will be fine for my 280CE. What do you think? |

Should be fine, but they may sub that W8DC on you..might call and ask someone to put their hands on the plugs prior to shipping.
Given how much easier it is to get the NGK's and that NGK makes a great plug I'd just go the BP route. Jonathan

i agree with the above ngk is a wonderfull plug, bosch platnum is also a good choice, you can get iridium plugs, there the most expensive at about $10.00-$12.00 each but are supposed to last longer and give a better spark than platnum.

these older ignition systems do Not like the rare earth materials...the small electrodes are prone to fouling when utilized on a single coil system.
The new style COP ignition systems are bloody arc welders and will blow through all Sorts of trash :-P Copper core, non-resistor for the older models. Crazy fancy plugs for the new fangled gear. jono

If they want to change you to a W8DCO, those would work fine, too.
