Sitting 2 years
85 500 sel has been sitting in garage while repairs were being done.
I am concerned about oil not being on the moving internals after such a long sit. Is there any way to "pre oil" the engine oil pressure or should I spin without plugs or what? God Bless John |

You could take the plugs out and squirt a little oil into the cylinders, then crank the engine over, then reinstall the plugs, sure.

if you disconnect coil wire from distributor cap and then spin over engine on the starter until you get oil pressure registering on the gauge you should be fine.
