Cuise Control Module

Some info for those of you with CC module problems.
I noted in some of the other threads that some one was advocating changing the capacitors in the module if the module was causing surging.
So I opend one up that had that problem and took a good hard look at. There are two that sit side by side and are black they are standing on end.
Low and behold one had a swelling on the side and was some what loose, so I unsoldered it and only one pin came out with the cap the other had pulled out of the cap very easly.
So I unsoldered one from a module that was dead and installed it and now the cruise works like it should.
So for modules that surge try puting in new caps they are 22uf 40V if memory is correct.
