W124 wiper lubrication

I need to lubricate the wiper assembly on my 300CE. Is it possible to do this with the assembly still in the car? Also, what type grease should be used?

If you want to try something with it installed on the car, try some atf (automatic transmission fluid)

How would I get the fluid inside the mechanism?

Take the small cover off, the one above the large clamshell-ish cover, and let it run down into the mechanism down the shiny shaft.
