squeaking steering wheel

On my 190e driving down road makes squeaking sound from steering wheel. It doesn't squeak making turns but just turning it back and forth on straight driving. Anyone had this problem, and can it be lubed? It is kind of annoying! Thanks for any suggestions or help!

Yes there is a contact ring inside. Take apart the wheel and after light wire brush or sand use some dialectric grease from radio shack on it to stop the squeak.

Hey, Macdrone thanks for the help here! Do you know where to get procedure to remove the wheel? Was wondering if you need to disconnect battery etc. on account of the air bag in the steering wheel?
