In to the booster, then I believe the interior of the car. But I thought you have a leak on to the ground?? If you think it's going out the outside or firewall area, that floor under the booster would be wet.

Or maybe through the vacuum line and the engine is burning it?

Pressure Accumulator!!!!
I you don't know what this ASR component is I forgive you!!
You also won't believe where the put it!! Behind the front wheel!! Guess it was too crowded under the hood!!! Beginning to lose a bit of respect for MB! Here's a pic of what it looks like when you uncover it. Just look at where they put the lines in/out! Do you thing they could have mounted it the other way up?? The 2nd pic shows what it looks like when you remove most of the muck from around it. Notice how badly covered those lines were. Surprise, surprise, that's what's leaking - You can just see the foamy patch to the left and the drip into the bucket. Replacement cost $2,800 - availability 3 weeks plus $150 for lines YEAH!! That'll happen! If you have the same car, you might want to remove the inner wheel well cover and clean this puppy off a bit before it causes you a problem. But beware, it is secured with #8 sized screws!!! IN THE WHEEL WELL?????

$2800???! Hoe-Lee-Crap. And I didn't even know it existed! Some kind of pressure accumulator? I wonder if you could find a used one?
Glad the mystery is solved, anyways.
