Hear are the results of my car being treated with seafoam.....Not the drop in %HC and %CO and the increase in the %O2. What I did was pour half a can in the gas tank when it was close to E (someone said pour a third in, but I decided to add extra to avoid paying another GD (g*dd*mn) smog fee), I poured about 6 oz in the oil crankshaft, then I drove to the gas station and filled up. I then went to a secluded area and turned on my car (I have automatic start which makes this part easy) and proceeded to slowly pour the remaining stuff into the brake booster line (the metal line that runs on the right hand side of the air filter housing). I then put everything back together (closed up the brake booster line and reattached the air filter housing) and kept the car in N and gassed it till about 20 RPM and an occasional spurt close to redline. You will notice the smoke coming out like crazy. I did this until I noticed all the smoke was gone or mostly gone, then I drove on the freeway for about 20 mins. The next day I changed the oil.......Overall the entire process takes about 15-20 mins not including changing the oil, which, by the way had nothing to do with my smog, I just figured since I was gonna seafoam my car I might as well take car of the oil too
. I did have an email from the seafoam company which has since been deleted, do a search on the forum under my name or seafoam as I'm sure I posted it before as well as my story, which may vary slightly, but is still accuarate.
