Cooolant loss
I have lost about a quart of coolant in the last 1200 miles. I see no smoke from the tailpipe, no leaks on the floor or under the hood that can see. All hoes are tight and clean. Anyone have any idea of what may be going on?Its an 84 300DT. I have searched the forum but didnt see much on coolant loss on the diesels this age.
Thanks, Harry |

It's burning off before it drips...you have a slow leak somewhere.

Post this in the Diesel Discussion Forum. that is where the diesel experts are.
You could have a head gasket issue and leaking into a cylinder. Have you noticed your oil turning a milky color? or an increase in the oil level? Charlie
