w126 park brake cable

Could someone, please, post procedure for replacing front part of the parking brake cable?.

Requires removal of center console & many other parts!
Factory time was 8 hrs.

That's what I was afraid of.
Acouple of months ago, I replaced the heater core and the interior was stripped bare...
